Life issues us all challenges and it is how we respond to those challenges that eventually reveals who we are and who we are going to become. Seed’s Identity Tour is an emotional, fun and entertaining romp that details Seed’s one month odyssey thru 11 countries in Europe to help him deal with a vast array of challenges he was issued in early 2003. You will laugh, you may cry, you may be astonished by the intensity of the events, but you are guaranteed to be entertained and it will leave you wanting more.
"[…] As for the trip now that we are eight days in I feel this would be a good time to bring you up to speed as to what this whole journey is about. I know you were given little snippets earlier as to the events of the past year or so, but now would be as good of time as any to enlighten you to the whole gestalt of this adventure. You see life issued me a dose of seriousness, which I could not look the other way on. I had to face it, the events were so significant that unless I was already suffering from a rice wine and crack induced comatose state I was going to have to deal with the events of the past and come to some sort of livable terms with them. My life had never been a cakewalk, yet it had always been full of adventure. I transcended any definable reality. I was just simply myself despite of my surroundings. I had always been the quirky leader of many. The guy who though fascinating and whose life seemed to be so exhilarating, his sheer existence was strangely unattainable. A sort of fantasy. And if one was to try to emulate they would simply spontaneously combust, leaving only the remnants of their shoes and socks behind. What makes me different is that due to my soon to be discovered dysfunctional upbringing, my sheer energy and lust for existence had made my life the vicarious dream of a lot of souls who had come in contact with me. I had simply become a cure for the mundane. Now strangely, all that I was now desiring, was for my life to become mundane.
Though I never craved to be a leader, now I just wanted to crawl into a cave and hibernate from the realities of the world. It was now time for me to set the standards, the standards that will impact every aspect of my life, my existence from this day forward. Over the past year I was met with death and uncertainty. Not only the timely death of the aged but the all too early death of the young as well. I was met with infidelity after infidelity and I was being treated as if my existence was not necessary. I in a heartbeat and in all essence had lost something very vital to my existence and continuation on this planet and that was simply this: I had lost my HAPPY. This journey to Europe was simply the facilitation or journey to help me delve deep inside of me, to look into my core and come up with the answers to why I occupy space on this planet and what my ultimate purpose is meant to be. Ultimately to find my passion, to become un-lost and to define what is important to me and what needs to be in my life. In a nutshell, the trip is to sort through the emotional shit of the past several months and to accept responsibility for my life and then ultimately to kick start me into achieving greatness. In a sense to unleash my potential. What a monumental task. The question is where to begin? To this point alcohol and avoidance seem to be part of the answer […]."
