The Seed PROFILE
|
Start with two parts creativity:
The Seed (Lindsay): a creative genius with a unique sense of humor, a knack for photography, vast life experience and a big heart.
EuroSeed (Greg): a man with an open mind, a Law degree and a passion for writing and editing.
On one fateful evening back in the Summer of 1992, Greg was serving a table of friends and acquaintances at Broadway Earls in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Lindsay happened to be amongst the guests and struck up a conversation with Greg; a close friend of his was dying of cancer and he needed someone removed from the situation to listen for a while.
Although the close friend turned out to be a liar and a thieving bastard - who incidentally didn't turn out to be sick at all (though perhaps in the brain) - the friendship that began that evening was real. During the last twelve years, Lindsay and Greg have become great friends and sometimes rivals (on the tennis courts or golf courses of this planet); the respect and support is solid. In spite of setbacks, life-altering crises and various other dysfunctions, both have remained positive individuals and the entrepreneurial spirit has remained strong. Although they live on different continents, they have chosen to focus their energy and remaining brain cells in creating a new company: Seed Enterprises.
Actually more than just a "company": a new way of life.
Add a shot of seriousness (and not to forget vodka):
PapaSeed (Wayne): the man with a business acumen, our motivational guru and overall "voice of reason".
Wayne completed the triumvirate in the Summer of 1996, as Wayne joined the Seeds in making a field trip to Jamaica. Out of this trip, which involved a variety of interactions and experiences, copious amounts of alcohol and finally topped off with sunshine and a bit of golf, the friendship grew and a lasting bond with the beautiful country of Jamaica and its fine people was forged. Wayne has complemented the Seed Enterprises crew with his many years of business and financial experience not to mention his good judgment for potential business opportunities.
Shake it up a bit:
Then Life came along and, as it often has a habit of doing, shook things up quite a bit. It issued a variety of changes and challenges, successes and failures, a marriage and a few breakups as well as disappointments and the deaths of loved ones. Yet, Life didn't just stop there: it blessed Papa Seed and his lovely wife, Fiona, with a wonderful, healthy baby boy, Aidan, brought the Seeds to new continents, jobs and opportunities. The Seed cocktail was further spiced up with a dash of Carol and Dave, whose expertise and philosophical background help to keep it fresh and tasty.
It remains to be seen what Life has yet in store. One thing is certain: the friendship will prevail. The Seeds shall remain positive and spin experiences both good and bad into the new brand of Seed.
